The first purchase …

We had a little trip to see my parents in Ireland and managed to squeeze in a trip to Galway.  It’s a great city, full of arts, music, dance and street performers.  On the way back home we found the Dubarry factory shop … so picked up a pair of sailing boots each for around half the normal price.

The fab Galway marina, small but right in the town, so close to the action.  And of course, the super comfy boots.  Trev spent most of the evening wandering around in shorts and boots.  He was, allegedly “wearing them in” … but according to Joyce, this isn’t the first time he’s refused to take his wellies off!!
It’s the boat show in a few weeks time and then we’re off to Croatia for a weeks sailing. It’s the first time we’ve been on a boat together, and out on our own too 😳😳😳

There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
