Provisioning a boat .. the Water Plus Way

I finished work yesterday and have been thoroughly spoilt by my brilliant friends and colleagues. The champagne and gin essentials for the boat are looking in pretty good shape right about now😜😜

I’ve made some true friends at W+ and have had one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life there. I’ll miss you all very much. That said, I’m expecting the usual grief from those of you who have my mobile number 🤣

Gianti had a little leak and needed the rigging sorted out, due to her age. That’s nearly all sorted,, it will be finished towards the end of next week. The Bimini & sprayhood are waiting to be fitted, the new headsail & pack a main will be ready next month. We’ve got a new toilet (don’t ask), the solar panels and the wind turbine to install, but the mattress toppers & many, many other inflatable boats are now onboard

The van is sold, house has been rented and packing it all away starts in earnest next week. The countdown has started now for us to make this dream a reality and become full time sea gypsies.

Let the packing commence … S x

  1. You’ll be sorely missed Sarah – the crazy set up of W+ will fade over time, but I’ve loved the story of how you were building furniture etc right back at the very beginning.. great job. Can’t wait to see your next adventure unfold.. well done for both being inspirational to the rest of us who are still 9-5ing 5 days a week… H-J XXX

There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
