Living la Vida Lagos

Hi there,

It’s been a while since I last posted, so there’s a bumper video to watch here ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

https://youtu.be/OjEpPyi9DoE

We’ve been walking, doing boat jobs, buying things like shopping is going out of fashion & have somehow become the ‘popular’ boat in the pontoon. Everyone in the marina is really friendly and the offers of drinks, aperitifs and dinners haven’t dried up even after the 1st encounter!

We’ve explored the area quite a lot, walking over to Praia de Luz, exploring the beaches and even hiring a car to explore with the Swedish Secret Service team (or Karin & Erling as they are also known).

Winter is a great time to get jobs done, so we’ve been quite busy cleaning & treating sails, making a battery box, replacing anodes, putting up a spice rack and general clearing out of lockers and junk. We’ve also bought a heavy duty sewing machine so that we (I) can make boat things like fly screens for the smaller widows, spray dodgers, covers for all sorts of things.

We’ve also bought some new video editing software, which has allowed me to get fully geek-girl ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿค“. Let me know what you think of the latest video. Shall we try for some voice over? You can choose who has the least annoying voice ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคญ

There will be a few more posts coming up, it’s dark & getting colder in the evenings now, so we need things to do. As a nod to December we’ve changed the duvet cover to a 4 tog one. Trev has yet to give up on the shorts though.

Chat soon,

Sarah & Trev

There is nothing โ€“ absolutely nothing โ€“ half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
