Fit to sail

We try and exercise regularly with anything from resistance bands workouts, yoga, going for a run, cycling and generally walking everywhere.

One of the benefits of having a static base is that we’ve both been able to have a regular exercise routine. Trev’s been hitting the local gym pretty hard & I’ve been mainly working out on the boat.

We’ll be moving on from Lagos in the next week so the way we exercise will change. I’m hoping for more yoga on the beach & swimming 😉😉. The space we have is limited, along with what we can use on board, as you’ll see in the video. What you see is just my stuff, Trev also has his own resistance bands (tougher than mine!) & a TRX set up which I am completely unsure about how he uses it.

We tend to workout separately as I get ‘helpful’ and it irritates Trev 😂😂😂

Anyway, thought you might find it sort of interesting to see a bit more of day to day life on board. There’s a Captain’s Blog coming up as soon as we finish our jobs.

There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
