This was how the entry to the log book started.
What an eventful night, got some great pictures and I think we’ll be able to cope in those circumstances again! We planned a route to take us to an anchorage across the other details of Mljet so we could take a different line back to Dubrovnik. After a play sail for a few hours we made our way to the anchorage around the headland from Pomena. Evening was closing in, so we decided to motor sail to the bay. When we got there there was a large sign clearly stating that there was no anchoring, so we checked the book and decided to move to the bay 2 minutes away, also shown in the pilotage book as having anchorage available. Another big sign stating no anchoring.
So, we have no working navigation lights, an out of date pilotage book and it’s getting dark. We decided to work our way back round the headland to a bay we’d seen other boats in. The picture below is a sunset Trev.
