She’s ours

Sooo, it’s been a while .. we’ve been busy getting the survey report done and working with our broker to move it forward. Yesterday we finally heard that Gianti is officially ours so now we have to start on the big list of things to sort out before we can start our adventure.

Thee are 23 weeks until we’re thinking of setting sail, so it’s going to be very busy.

I’ve set up a you tube site and have been playing around with the iPad to create videos to help update you all whilst we’re away. They’re fun to make but can take a long old time to upload to You Tube. I’ll have to figure out how to sort out a link from here via a widget or button … but it would be great to be able to do that.

Hopefully the next video you’ll see is the boat going back into the water after her hull polish and re-anti foul, reading for her new rigging and headsail.

We’ve got tickets to the London boat show so will go down armed with credit cards ready to buy a Bimini, solar panels and associated gubbins, explore on board wifi, a tender & outboard, flares and anything else that might cost a small fortune.
