So much to do … the plan takes shape

So I’m sitting at work having a mild panic at the enormity of what needs to happen for this to work. Current mood 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲

We’ve had a productive few days with a letting agent coming to see the house, sorting through paperwork and clothing. We’ve set a date as to when we leave Swannick marina and will head towards Weymouth marina for April 1st. We’ve decided to berth there for a month so that we can use the trip as a shakedown, fit the last items and be comfortable with getting out regularly on the boat and actually sailing, with the added comfort of knowing we have a marina for the night. It’ll be a good month for us to get our heads around being on the boat, it’s noises and quirks, using the equipment and learning the chart plotter vs navionics. Any suggestions are hugely appreciated BTW!

Heading down to the boat show in London tomorrow to spend πŸ’ΈπŸ’°πŸ’· on the list of essentials!

See you all in the other side of a huge spree πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
